Wow! I hadn’t thought of that. The fact that they handled a rape story so well to begin with was impressive, but put’s the show on another level.

The Wiz has, by far, the best cast of the three NBC Live performances so far. I hope the actual show lives up to that.

That could be, but the image Mike Quinn pointed out as being him was from a scene when characters were getting in their X-Wings, so it would make sense to be him.

It didn’t used to cost so much. I’m guessing it’s out of print now and the price is going up. I would totally get it on blu ray if thy ever put it out like that, though, even at that price.

I still need to check those out. I’ve heard really good things.

You know, while part of me is happy that Netflix gets bigger things, I do miss when half their streaming service was balls crazy stuff like this. There’s still a little if you dig, but not like the old days. :P

The Brubaker/Phillips titles are gold and if anyone here isn’t familiar with them , I highly recommend looking into it. Fatale is my favorire, but the Fade Out has a strong chance of catching it. I also loved Incognito, just not as much. I need to get the rest at some point. :)

Even though they’re considered mutants, the fact that they are not X-Men characters likely means that they’re still owned by Marvel. They just wouldn’t be able to use the term mutant anyway.

I liked Thor 2 a lot. Not enough Malekith, but otherwise very solid.

This is so cute!!!!

I loved it. It’s not the best show ever made, but it was a lot of fun. The fight scenes were very well done and not nearly as choppy as a lot are shot these days.

The best remakes are the ones that had a good concept that didn’t quite go right or has multiple angles you can approach it from.
