Well, that was only one extreme. Opinions seemed to vary a bit, but no one seemed to hate it.

I loved it!
Shame it took so long, that actually looks good.
At least they don’t lose their testes for their craft anymore.
I don’t know, I loved it. I was worried it would go too adult, and while they rode that line really hard, I think it stayed well enough. I won’t say it was perfect, but it definitely had a lot of promise, and I really hope it does well. As for specifics:
Yeah, that joke fit Zoot perfectly.
I thought it was more about puberty and learning how to handle different emotions than about outright depression.
I know I’m a sucker for all things Dalek, but i really enjoyed this episode. The reveal of the kid was good, as were the hand mines. Capaldi and Gomez were perfect. Everyone else was good as well, though Redgrave was sadly underused. I also really liked Colony Sarff. I hope we get a more substantial role for them in…
Dang Matt, you’re usually such a nice guy. Get on the ball here.
I’m really curious as to who it will be. I’m also curious to see if they’ll ever use Karn for a full episode instead of these prologues.
Mr. Smarty Pants approves.
I’m not too bothered. If it happens I’ll stay for it. If it doesn’t, I’ll be fine too.
John Dee also took Queen Elizabeth into a messed up future full of punk street gangs trying to get on TV. :P
My first experience probably wasn’t until 89 or 90. After my parents split up and we moved with my grandparents, the neighbor kid had an NES that I’d get to play. Also, that first Christmas after, I got one of my own.
To be fair, Flag is fairly generic looking to begin with. I guess they could have made his shirt more yellow, but that’s the most distinguishing thing about his look, and even in Justice League Unlimited, they did away with it.
If you’re talking about the one next to Will Smith, it’s Rick Flagg as played by Joel Kinnaman. The other guy is probably not a major character.
They’re actually not earth worms, they’re blood worms, but that’s not really the point.
Gotta nuke something.
I’m not sure about the Imperial guards. It’s a cool design, but it doesn’t see quite right. Everything else is awesome.
