gah. i can’t read, apparently. sorry!

no julia roberts is notoriously mean.

I totally believe Hugh Grant is an asshole, but I also totally think none of those actresses are “down to earth” in real life.

I was raised in a pretty sexist household where the boys got preferential treatment. I grew up with parents who constantly told sister and me to brag about our brothers’ accomplishments to impress people but never the converse. In college, I pointed this out to my mom and she innocently and honestly said this was how

OMG same. I was a weepy mess at the end of Aly’s routine, and then lost it when Simone and Aly were just standing there with their arms wrapped around each other.

Watching her from my lounge room in regional Queensland, Australia, was an absolute joy. She’s a motherfucking champion, and if your country’s journo’s won’t appreciate her awesomeness WE’LL TAKE HER. Our commentators were beyond excited following her! And that floor routine? Fucking flawless.

I was trying desperately at work to keep it together from the time Aly finished and teared up all the way through to Simone waving and getting Aly to join her. They were both AMAZING.

“I’m not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps. I’m the first Simone Biles.”

I love this woman. People like her are the future of our country!

GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best quote of the games. After all the comparisons to men, she nails it. "I'm not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps. I'm the first Simone Biles." Love her!

Goddamn right she is! I bow down; there are days when stepping up on the curb is hard for me. Splits in the air? Forgettaboutit!
