I do have a man at the ready, except he's suffering from a terrible sinus infection, so his libido is nil. (Unlike usual.) Right now I'm repeating a mantra of "all I want is a bloody Valentine's Day" (and not in the accidental death/murder type, either)

I have seen those tests and honestly, the last time I went to buy condoms I thought about grabbing a box of tests for situations like this. My boyfriend is supportive, but he's hoping that bloody times come soon, too.

Yeah, funny how that works...

Glad I'm not the only one either! I know it's just a superstition, but still. I want it early instead of late (or not at all...)

........stool softener? The fuck?

Technically, I'm not late. I'm usually 28-32 days for my cycle, and I've been under a bit of stress this week. I've got the uterine "pulling" sensation I usually get with my period and my boobs are sore, so I think it's just teasing me. I definitely plan on peeing on a stick if it gets to be next Friday with no Aunt

Sorry, brain is mush right now. I was meaning that you're probably right, but there are good ones who don't just do it for cash.

Sorry to hear that. It seems family is capable of hurting more than total strangers can. When my family gets critical of me, I get mad at them. I know it's lame, but it keeps me from being my usual over-sensitive self and taking everything to heart. When I cool off, I usually try to open dialogue about how they can

Just think- you are giving some young person a chance to substitute and get paid. Don't feel bad!

I wish you the best!

Starting to freak out about the absence of my period. It's only day 30, but......fuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Sounds like Northern New York. People's families have been here (mostly) since the place was first settled. Thankfully, my mother's side was a transplant and my boyfriend's family is from Utica.

My mother always said if you're breeding correctly, you won't be making scads of money. (Training and showing- $$, health checks prior to breeding for heritable diseases- $$, stud fee- $$, whelping and caring for a litter of puppies- $$, vet checkups and shots- $$, screening prospective puppy owners- time and energy).

I'm definitely not an advocate of poor breeding practices. I'm just saying that not everyone is guilty of being the bad breeders.

That is unfortunate, but that's WHY pedigrees exist. So you can track back who the parents were so you could avoid situations such as this.

Some things to keep in mind:

I think you're right.

The thought DID cross my mind. I live in northern NY (near Canada) and we've only had about 6 days of actual snow this "winter".

Comfy and possibly buzzed? How can you go wrong?

Yeah, me either. Damn cute though!
