I learned how to cook at a young age. I'm guessing probably around 9 or 10. (Supervised) My dad used to go to work and come home and make dinner for all of us (Mom as well) and my mother usually made sure we got breakfast and got on the bus and took care of big dinners.

If I am not in a big hurry, I will usually wait for the person behind me to enter as well, or I will trot ahead if I spot someone with something big in their hands or a parent with a stroller. I was surprised (pleasantly) to hear that from my friend. When I used to go out more, I was almost always sober and a volunteer dd for people I knew. I'd rather they left their vehicles at the bar and had me drive instead of risking their lives and others for such a stupid reason.
