You did not use your Gamecube controller in the Wii version. If you're referring to having used a Gamecube controller in a Gamecube game, then duh. The Wii remote is used in 99% of Wii games as the primary device.

Either way, those are both throwback color schemes. Retailers will get the "proper" colors.
