I'm figuring it was fairly inert when they put in the bucket to drive it across the beach. Otherwise they wouldn't have had cops walking 30ft in front of it. That was a hell of a shot, though. They should have put an old Toyota on top of the pile to see how far they could launch it out to sea.

They take the total cars in inventory (nationally); and divide by the average sales per day (usually for the last 30 days or so).
