The last NA engine will be a GM small block V8....they are getting more fuel efficent in every generation and I imagine the Corvette will be around for some time. Even with pickups possibly moving to forced induction V6s , I think the die-hards at Chevy will keep the V8 alive for a long time.

Electric cars of today are a stop gap measure till someone at NASA, DARPA or your local basement comes up with a far superior method of charging batteries and more to the point, comes up with better batteries.

They never go where I want go. The seats are uncomfortable. The cabin is noisy. The stewardesses are all grumpy dudes. Their is no in flight entertainment. No in flight meal/drink service. Flights are always delayed due to broken aircraft. I'm always getting seated next to a crying 2nd LT.

Careless Airways located near the Top Gear test track is quite bad I hear. They're always dropping pianos...

"Hoon Legislation" Nice!

I thought so. You hardly ever saw that sort of thing up there, back in my day...

Hybrids sometimes have better city MPG because they can run all-EV for short periods of time at lower speeds.

"Hire a writer that knows engines, must you now..."

Dear Ecotec22

Gotta be good to be lucky.

lalalalalalaaa I can't hear you

Lets not ruin this Stig.

No. Guessing about this isn't fun.

Why do people need to take the mystery out of things that aren't important?

EV = fear.

What the hell?

While it isn't the best car of the year, I think the 2014 Kia Forte might be the best new car in it's segment. The Elantra was a game changer and this one is even better. It's the quickest in its class, comes loaded with options even in base lx such as a backup camera, and looks great inside and out. It can upgrade to

Crack pipe.
