Last Friday -

Changed the thermostat in my 3.4 Alero this summer in an effort to correct an overheating problem (which it didn’t). You know you’re in trouble when the list of instructions for the given job refers you to several other lists of instructions for separate preparatory work that needs to be done.

Did this exact one in college. Roommate knocked it off a shelf by accident and now the cam gear no longer connects to the crank, so no more valve train :( Or fan.

My wife’s Versa currently has a rusted-out frame rail. This portion of the frame also happens to be that to which the engine mounts and front suspension is bolted. That’s the unfortunate part.
