This expansion is probably the most satisfying gaming experiences I’ve had in a while. I usually don’t care much for difficult games, but the challenge in this is some of the best tuned difficulty of any game I’ve ever played. Difficult, but usually not tedious or too frustrating, and incredibly satisfying to clear

I mean reddit in general is ground zero for shitposting, let’s be honest.

Splatoon 2's community makes me really happy. The game’s approach to collaboration is really neat, honestly.

You’re right that facing and discussing the issue is more important than simply pretending it doesn’t exist. Unfortunately, some of the people that do post such hateful messages do so for shits and giggles, thereby not being open to any sort of discussion whatsoever. What do you do then?

what?

Friendly reminder (which counts to all social media): if you see something distasteful, harmful, or outright hate speech, report report report it with the handy dandy triple dots, lines, etc.

Zarya was out of the meta for nearly a full year, so geguri spent that time learning DVa. More importantly, though, she’s said that she can’t play Zarya with the Dragons because Zarya requires too much team coordination. 🙃

I actually think that’s better than curators! At least then I don’t have to deal with people making lists to determine if a game is good or bad based solely on its FPS or resolution.

After reading about how steam dont care about people posting racist and nazi stuff its always good if we take a look somewhere else before

Well, bad engineers tend to do that. Good ones fight the old architecture down to the root and then up again until everything is fixed and a new architecture emerges from all the lessons learned. Only then do they sleep in peace.

That would be “Discovery Queue”. What if the curator wasn’t even a person, just a soulless algorithm that pieces together your personality based on your game library!?

Basically the same video game.

I actually bought Assassin’s Creed: Origins on Green Man Gaming instead of Steam just to avoid having to see all the ‘WE WAS KANGZ’ comments from racist troll curators. The 15% discount was just icing on the cake.

I’m having trouble thinking of a part of Steam that I value less than the curators’ recommendations, but I’m not coming up with anything.

Yuuuuup.

“In particular, Curators will be able to see how their reviews impacted their follower’s behavior in the Steam store”

It shows how their flat organizational hierarchy is just a myth. It’s clear that the engineers are steering the ship.

Seeing TotalDipshit on every page is enough to make me not want to browse Steam at all.

Id like to be able to block or at least disappear with the ones that appear randomly. Somehow i was successful with the assholes on youtube but i cant escape from them on steam

They keep trying to do the least amount of work to curate the store, I feel like they could have paid people to curate the store for less than what they’ve paid to develop ways to automatically do it.
