Definitely not. I think it’s important to assume good faith. I didn’t particularly have issues with this AGDQ overall and I don’t think many people meant to offend. But I also have been following speedrunning for a long time.

I think there’s merit to feelings all around. The majority of speedrunners I’ve spoken to are smart, enthusiastic, and totally easy to chat with. I admire their passion and love what they do.

By not being a total asshole to people? I mean how is that so hard to understand? It’s not hard to not be an asshole and requires minimal concentration.

It was definitely frustrating this year to see overall good energy get completely killed by bad comments from the couch. Some of these guys act as though there’s a chance for a new WR on every run when in reality this is just a showcase. People need to learn to chill.

Would happily support any content creator who happens to transition while I enjoy their work (Only one has done this so far, but he writes review articles, not a youtube person/twitch streamer). I imagine the quality of fun stuff they do would only go up when the person is actually happy with how they look and feel.…

I get that dunkey tries to show how dumb people are for telling others what they should pick (they are), but honestly, I’ve seen it time and time again that my team loses the match because we have ranged-defensive characters as the attackers and capturing the point doesn’t work well when you have the half team…

Just goes to show, there’s no such thing as a bad character, just bad players that make excuses for why they suck using that character - and then project those excuses onto others - during team select.

It’s kinda surprising there isn’t a larger market for English Sex games/animation. There is certainly a huge demand. Japan basically has the market cornered, which is unfortunate given their censorship laws, and, honestly, kinda have an obsession with rape.
