Putting aside the high dudgeon you wrote this article in, you are completely incorrect. Is it unfair in life that bad things happen? Yes, go ask Melville in Moby Dick, but not all unfair things are illegal or have the same culpability.

I’m sorry is this Lawopnik and what school did you graduate from?
As a young kid we went to someone’s farm where a bunch of us were playing all over the place. In an old barn, I found a fuse box. I decided to grab a fuse for some reason (remember: young kid), and that thing knocked me back as if I had been pinched in the face. That was THE worst barn find I’ve ever experienced.
You guys can (and do) put out good stuff; I never implied otherwise.
Whenever I read about a problem that can only be solved by higher taxation, I immediately understand there is no real problem, just an attempted money-grab.
I enjoy the $ I save working on my own cars. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment when a job is done. But there’s a reason we call it working on a car versus relaxing on a car.
The computers are not the issue. EFI is significantly simpler to work on than a carburetor. The issue with newer cars is more that things are not designed to be worked on by the shade tree mechanic- non-serviceable assemblies, special required tools, even inventing new heads for bolts to make sure you don’t have that…
Leave it to Jalopnik to cry out for buttons when their isnt any, and explode when theres too many... w/e
True. Aaron should just walk to and from everywhere, as that is most carbon friendly.
Came for neat pictures, got stuck with another tired take on wealth politics. Aren’t there other Kinja sites for this nonsense?
“if you buy off-brand shit tires “
I’m glad you’ve found your passion in life.
My guess is they saw an E39 M5 that has been maintained and is in good shape and realized that they could register/insure/inspect the car in their home state even with the questionable exhaust. These cars are amazing. I’d rather an original one, but you can’t tough those for <$10k
“But while that sounds bad, the news is a lot better when you include the GMC Sierra. For the third quarter, combined sales of the Sierra and Silverado actually beat out the Ford F-Series. As a whole, GM is moved more full-size trucks than anyone last quarter.”
There doesn't have to be more to this story. Some people are just assholes.
There might be but you’d be surprised, there are plenty of videos where people keying cars as they go (and multiple of them). There was one when person walks into a store, walks out, notices the car and keys it.
It only has to look as good as it did from the factory.
You missed the best photo in the ad....
