Peep the Author, it wasn’t David.
The more I read Jalopnik I’ve started to believe 90% of commenters can’t turn a wrench and have to pay someone else to.
It’s a hive mind when it comes to Tesla tho.(I’ll give David a pass, He seems like the only write who’s ever held a wrench, I respect that)
Apt analysis. I believe in the threshold too. I bought a 04 Volvo S80(pictured) with 426000 miles on it. Rocked it to 450 and sold it a few weeks ago.
So why do you recommend a 3 series over a TLX? A simple google search shows the TLX starts at 33,000 and a 3 series starts at 41,000. Are they really competitors? What’s the lifetime maintenance costs for each? I’m sure the BMW is more exciting to drive but which is better to own?
But why do that when you can do this?
Rest assured, if there was a way to bring up Tesla(and get a dig in) Aaron would do it.
Ah Ha!! I found the comment I was looking for. I can guarantee you, if Elon wasn’t connected to this Aaron would have no interest in writing this(well written, please don’t put me back to the grays for daring to disagree with you) article.
I would agree. I’ve sold $500 cars that look like this on the inside because it just wasn’t worth my time to clean up. However, if I’m selling a $11000 Lexus I could probably put a couple hours into it.
As I stated in my grey comment over in pending because I’m not a real person:
This reeks of “Honey I put it on the craigslist I can’t make people buy it!”
Exactly! Why didn’t he just put an LS or 2JZ like EVERYBODY freaking does? Why would he try something different? Just to see if it could be done? For fun? Just because?
Everytime I see a Jaguar I can’t help but think Jaaaaaaag
Don’t try that down here!
I bet you get more dates with the Tesla than the palm pilot
Well that’s just reasonable now isn’t it?
I work right down the street from there!
Nah, you want the GE9X with 105,000 lbs of thrust.
