I don't think I can forgive this show for making Carl such a moron. In the comics he's a pretty damn complex character, but nope, Carl is an idiot in this and it's a shame.

This is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen.

Yeah, but dude, Breitbart wasn't a politician. He was a vulture who deliberately and aggressively went after certain people, used unethical tactics to get information that he got away with because he was a "blogger," and he was a sensationalist mouthpiece for the right. Which, hey, good for him for making money by

Oh, you had me up until the U.K. I understand the reasoning, but it just seems very, very super unlikely that would ever happen. The British seem like they have one of the stronger national identities in the world, and I really doubt any of them would see that integrated with us. Though, Puerto Rico is a definite

Aubrey Plaza? A movie based on an old internet fad, being treated as real life? Time travel? Yeah, you know what, I'm there.

But then you'd get people accusing it of ripping off Devil May Cry. It's a lose/lose situation.

My favorite idea is Wolverine as a history professor, as well as his origin. It may be a bit Vandal Savage, but I can see how they can roll with it. Sadly, I'm not a huge fan of the main X-team's final designs, specifically Cyclops'. It looks really silly, and while I can see where he was coming from, it doesn't

You got to do this in Brotherhood, didn't you? At least two Assassination contracts were women. What's your point?

Heh. I'd love to see what "rewrite history as it was meant to be" actually means. That'd be fun.

Ah, yeah. I'd forgotten about Joan of Arc. Hmm.

Hm. I wonder if they're admitting that Washington was also a Templar with that one shot of him staring at Connor killing that other Templar. I really, really hope so. I would love it if Connor was being used by the Templars for most of the game until he finally realizes the truth or something like that. Anyway, i want

Oh, ouch. This comment hurt.

It's pretty annoying that people are so dead-set against the Covenant being in this. They were at war for a long, long time, and there are bound to be hostile aliens running around. I thought they handled the Covenant - surprise! - not really bit perfectly. You think you're fighting the same enemies, but then the new

There's also the "shielding its ally" thing. It makes you feel like the enemies are actually working together in this.

Lara Croft is like the friggin' terminator in this clip, and I love it. I guess all those injuries from early in the game turned her to steel.

They're hinting at this family history - "I don't want to be that kind of Croft" - that might mean she has some experience with this sort of thing, but yeah, like Burdmayn said, it seems to be trying to build Lara Croft into the gun-toting badass we all grew up with. Still, brutal, this game.

Lara Croft is a Borgia?

My favorite bits were Cortana's rampancy and when that little hover-AI-enemy caught the grenade and threw it back at you. The enemies seem intelligent which is always a plus, and we're finally getting to the Forerunners proper. Definitely pre-ordering this.

Really? History is a really, very long time. Have you ever read The Immortal Iron Fist? It's similar to the Assassin order in some ways - a lot of people held the title of Iron Fist at different points in history. The stories of these Assassins don't have to directly tie into the Desmond/Ezio/Altair/Connor stuff, and

Maybe, maybe not. I love Ezio and Desmond, but I'd love to be able to sample some other Assassin's history in something that's not main-story related. For example, we don't know that this Assassin has anything resembling Eagle's Sight so they have to account for that in the game-play. That should be interesting, no?
