Too much sugar can definitely get to me - I get mood swings, I crave more sugar, and I get a greater tendency to get yeast infections. But then I just stop eating so much sugar. That's not so much a cleanse as.... yeah, not eating too much sugar.

I'm impressed. I don't think I could go a month, and I don't even like sweets that much. Although I'm tempted to try. I did eat an entire apple pie in three days this Thanksgiving weekend.

So true! Laying off sugar and processed flour is the BOMB. Seriously. Your mood is better, your skin is clearer, and the weight just FALLS off.

Definitely listen, and don't shut up. We've got to have this dialogue. Sometimes it may go off on a tangent, but if there's to be understanding we need allies to be full partners.

Yeah, that is at least partly what I'm saying. Obviously she had to approve it, but a lot of articles are mentioning that she wrote that particular script as if that's necessarily specifically proof of her opinion or her having anything to do with the writing of that joke originally. They give out proportionally very few work visas compared to other EU countries, and I feel like in the next few years they're going to be pressured to recruit a lot more "highly skilled workers" in

A feel-good anecdote, with regards to getting married because you're knocked up:

Yup, I think that the higher divorce rate is actually a good thing. I'm 25, so my grandparents are starting to really get up there in age, and they're starting to lose the ability/desire to hold in things they've been internalizing for decades. There is seriously nothing sadder than looking at both of them and

I'd also like to point out that the statistic talks about the unions, not the people. There are many people that divorce more than once in their lifetime.

There's soooooo much going on in this Dirtbag; I'm a little overwhelmed.

If he's in IT or engineering, there are A LOT of jobs in the EU (esp. Germany). Often, you don't even need to know the local language, because they're huge multinational companies.

Marry a European ;)

Some moms who don't have paying jobs schedule these things during the day because that's the only adult interaction they get. They are taking care of children just like paid nannies and daycare, but ... they aren't paid for it. And most of them are probably cutting costs elsewhere. It's always one thing or another.
