How do you figure? Trump’s administration has been caught in lie after lie, scandal after scandal. Uncovering the truth is what the press is all about. If Obama had lied even 1/100 as much as Trump, I’d expect them to do the same. But he didn’t.

Yea, so I was still living in happy delusion until I read your post.

They don’t really lose nothing though. This isn’t just Trump. Top Republicans in Congress were informed before the election. They’ve known for months. They did nothing.

Just to clarify, those were quotes from the NYT story, who were quoting from intelligence officials. Just like with the release of the dossier and the repeated statements that nothing in it had been verified, I think the officials are trying to make their concerns public while retaining some appearance of neutrality.

I’m getting the sense that the GOP is going to pay for this in the midterm elections. Of course that’s two years off and god only knows what the traitors of the GOP (can you think of a better word for someone who puts their own interests ahead of the country they are paid to serve?) will do to our country between now…
