I love that the bank robbers are clearly patterned after the trio from Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Two of the costumes are nearly identical, and the other's in angora!

I never heard about that, that's great to hear, and I just watched the video (it's the 1991 MTV awards)! I'd been under the false impression that his show got cancelled because of it (only reruns did!) and that he became a pariah (sounds mostly self-imposed break from the character and that most people supported him).

One thing I will respect my parents for forever was setting me up to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse every week back when I was 3 years old.

This sounds like a personal problem. I don't know what else you'd expect someone to do at a porno theater! I feel like that was one of the least egregious celebrity "scandals" of all time.

Yeah, definitely, my comment was the opposite of MAXIMUM OWNAGE. I love that guy, I still follow him on Twitter.

I blame the Wisconsin public school district.

She makes this show so unpleasant to watch for me. I was totally fine with Breaking Bad all the way up to maybe Ozymandias (which was OK cause it was so close to the end), but I'm having a really hard time working up the energy to watch this show every week. I like her way too much to watch her repeatedly get

Ironically means coincidentally according to at least as many people as use "Could Care Less."

It's that he has transitioned to a self-righteous prick who has to undercut everyone and enforce his authority on everyone while simultaneously being a nutter that leeched off Jimmy's good will for years. The fact the show continues to show Jimmy caring for him now and then just makes it more colored against Chuck.

They taught us (and enforced) two spaces in frickin MS Word in middle school/high school here (graduated in '02), and no one ever told me in college that I was doing it wrong when I put two spaces after every single sentence in all my papers. Now I can't help but do it. I ALREADY DID IT TWICE IN THIS POST! I don't

That would have been awesome. We could have shifted half of the run time of every episode to him and Laguerta trying to keep their torrid romance a secret from the office!!!

Never! Thanks, I learned something today.

Yeah, it's a lose-lose situation here. I am all for female-led films, and unfortunately if this bombs they'll probably do just what you said and use it as an excuse to perpetuate sexism. On the other hand, I would like to see remakes of 80s films as a trend stop, I would REALLY like to see "ominous piano covers of

He worded it "all 133 TV Lesbians Have Died Violently" but the article is "how 133 TV lesbians have died violently."

I've never even heard of this, but it sounds awesome. I loved the original Hairspray film. Good recommendation.

Essentially every article about it from well before it was even cast said it was going to be all-female. I don't know whether announced intention by the makers well ahead of starting production counts as "official marketing/promotion," but it sure has been the subject of the majority of the news about it for well

There was the guy that jumped off the hospital roof and wrecked George's car!

Ha, fair enough. I can't say I've ever watched any Youtube reaction videos in my life. Besides "they killed my nigga Ned" and the infamous Red Wedding montage. :P

She did, but she was lesbian at some point during the show, and the article was lesbian and bi women. I guess the show didn't seem to understand the concept of bisexual, though, so maybe she doesn't qualify!

I originally used the word implied, but thought that was too weak for this.
