Amen. If you can eat gluten, do it. If I find out I have a limited time to live/zombie apocalypse/asteroid/etc. I am eating all the gluten. No doughnut or croissant will be safe.

Agreed. She was trying so hard to do things right but she's got a lot to overcome. The teen dad always made me angry. He seemed to use custody as a way to manipulate her and when he did have the kid he'd go out and leave the kid with his parents.

Fruit desserts are always slightly disappointing to me, even if they taste good. Strawberry shortcake is fine, but I don't think it qualifies as a cake. Fruit pie is nothing but slimy fruit filling so it gets a big thumbs down.
