They’ve found out the colors of a couple. They were feathered, but one had cream and ginger stripes on it’s tail and the other looked much like a woodpecker. One ornithischian was found to have a banded tail as well, but I don’t think they were able to glean what colors exactly.

You should find T. Kingfisher’s books. She writes new takes on fairy tales and they are fantastic. She just published her version of The Ice Queen, called The Raven and the Reindeer. She has done versions of Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard and a ton more.
