Debra Messing posted that she was told she was going on The Today Show and was not told that it was Megyn’s hour. I wonder how long they’ll get away with that bait and switch.
i would think that people like Jane Fonda and Robert Redford would have the power to say no. i guess i am kidding myself. Welcome to the machine.
I just said it in another comment, but I have a feeling he thinks (as a lot of older men do) that men don’t really have the right to use the word “feminist”. He’s always stood up for women’s rights so I don’t think he meant to have it sound insulting at all.
I’m in my early 40's and I have had a crush on him also. I do wonder if he sort of was saying it because he’s a guy, so to him, he can’t be a true feminist. I know a lot of older men who feel that way, they don’t understand that the term can apply to anyone.
Hopefully it’s just old age, he always seems like a lovely sweet man and I admire him for how much he’s been a huge supporter of aspiring filmmakers in Hollywood.
Maybe he’s senile now. Or...I don’t know! I’m sad and I’m surprised Jane didn’t bitch slap him a little. Dammit, now I’m disappointed in her, too. This day sucks.
Jeez, they’re the same exact level of saturation - just enough to not be offensive (so, basically, beige).
I think of her as more of ecru, eggshell and vomit palette.
I love Robert Redford too, he was soooooooo dashing handsome back then and I’ve binged on his movies on Netflix. I am also puzzled by his feminism comments, he always seemed like an advocate of feminism (and civil rights) and was also the founder of Sundance Film Festival.
Plastic surgeons have this wonderful trick where they convince you that things are wrong with your body and everyone knows it but you.
Bobby, I know people will decry my sentiments in defense of your poor soul, but I am beyond delighted that you are willing to sacrifice yourself so that we may have these entertaining posts. It’s selfish, I know, and I do apologize for that, but you are doing a service for us all, so thank you from the bottom of my…
She’s four years older than her father was when he died. The work she’s had done was some skin removal around the eyes and neck. She’s been pretty open about it, but also equated plastic surgery with self-harm and I’m not sure that’s helpful for anyone.
I feel like smart people who get plastic surgery don’t get it to look super young but just to look the best version of themselves at their age.
“I’m sitting here with Jeffrey Dahmer, who, you might remember, murdered and ate numerous people. Now, Jeff, do you ever have days where you just want to put on some fuzzy slippers, eat a pint of Früsen Gladgė, and watch old reruns of Let’s Make A Deal? Because when I get the Blahs, that’s what I do. What do you do to…
I think* it’s a matter of restraint of both patient (I don’t want to try to look 25) and Doctor (and the Dr. is extremely high class (for better lack of word) and not some “cheapie” run of the mill plastic surgeon).
For some reason those colors read as like, the embodiment of seasonal depression to me.
Sometimes I wonder if plastic surgeons don’t mess with their celebrity patients by making them pay a king’s ransom to just nick them with a scalpel a few times. Jane Fonda looks great but she also looks exactly like her father did when he was about the same age as she is now.
