Personally, I thought it was one of the best superhero origin movies...miles better than Man of Steel, Thor, and the first Captain America movie.

Yes!! And she is giving herself way too much credit as an actress. She was good in Shakespeare in Love (maybe not best actress good, but whatever), but she is average at best. Her looks, size, and nepotism went a long way for her.

My grandfather’s first language was French and I still have family members in France, so bad, fake French accents drive me up a wall.
