Some people have a hard and fast rule that if you aren’t engaged or married, you don’t get to bring a date. Bringing a +1 doubles the guest list. It sucks, especially for people like you, but I wonder if they wanted to avoid drama “well SHE got to bring HER boyfriend”. I’m being very bridezilla and declaring who does

I’m down in the greys, and lurk here often, but I thought I’d see what people here think of my current situation and can offer any advice.

I can’t find a lot of ww brand snacks for whatever reason; i’m just more accountable and try to limit the crackers and use veggies instead. I always have apples around now so I can have something crunchy. I seriously still have days where my snack points are more than my lunch or dinner points. Work in progress, I

Weight watchers has completely changed how I snack, which is where lots of my “bad” food was coming from (all the cheese, can’t turn down a cupcake, etc). When cooking, increase your veggie portion. Still get that protein in there but more vegetables will help fill you up and are healthier.

Nikes tend to have a straighter/more narrow shape just bought a pair of mizunos that i’m loving. If you can spare the $$, going to a running store and getting fitted is very helpful

I bought something off of their Amazon wish list. I’ve been notified that it’s delayed. I’m not sure, but I believe it most likely has something to do with the “preventing deliveries” thing i’ve been hearing about.

Totally agree with you, however I’ve noticed that I work out longer and push myself MUCH harder in classes. Plus, group exercise classes introduce me to things I couldn’t/was too scared to do on my own. Think: lifting weights, using TRX bands.

I was at a friend’s birthday party taking place at a bar with table taps. You know, you can just pour yourself more beer whenever. Not sure how much I had. It was a lot. When it came time to pay the bill, we noticed that a bunch of people had just had the beer and skipped out, leaving a lot of $$ hanging. I put all my

Walked by Toons at 3:30 and there was a line. A short line, but a line all the same.

kindergarten students are right at butt level. Lots of “hey, hey teacher, hey” butt touching.

Does anybody look good in bike shorts? I feel super extra pear shaped with them on. I will wear my bike clothes into the bar I just biked over 10 miles to get to. But that is all.

Saw her live a few years ago. I didn’t know a ton of her music, but she was so charming, hilarious, and witty that I wanted to be her best friend. She put on a great show.

It was “Where the Red Fern Grows” for me. Bawling in 7th grade language arts.

Today I ran on the treadmill whilst watching “My Crazy Ex Girlfriend” on my phone. I was laughing so hard I almost fell off. Maybe time to switch back to tunes.

This is my 7th summer in Chicago. First two, couldn’t afford to go to Lolla. After that, my teenage cousins started getting 3 day passes and I was like NOPE. Too old for this business. I do know people that go and enjoy it, but honestly crowds + heat + annoying teenagers = no need. Get off my lawn and bring me a beer.

I always just do travel size shampoo/conditioner from the section at Walgreens. Most contact solutions also make a travel size version. To save space, I bought a bar of shampoo from Lush. No liquid, no problem. I’ve never had an issue with deodorant (i.e. I don’t put it in my quart sized bag) nor with anything from my

Looking for some advice for my fiancé. He has very oily and breakout-prone skin. He’s seen a dermatologist and was prescribed antibiotics; his acne cleared up while on the meds but once his prescription ran out it came right back. He doesn’t want to take a ton of antibiotics and I don’t blame him. He uses a medicated

Upgrade to LOFT instead, especially if you have an ass. They’re constantly having sales and their stuff fits better for curvier people.

I don’t get Frozen either, though watched 30 5 year olds have a massive singalong when they don’t actually know the words is hilarious.

Oh, for sure. But it’s like, don’t act like it’s soooo easy to lose weight when you have the luxury of being home all the time to work out whenever, cook for yourself, etc.
