If all you have is stereo sound (i.e. two speakers) then it really doesn't matter what you do. Optical audio is usually used for the "surround" sound setups so at least 2.1, but normally 5.1/7.1 setups.

Obviously you don't have fond memories of FFVIII or Mario Party for button mashing.

There is a 95% probability that Fi is one of the main reasons why I can't enjoy that game... along with a couple of your other points. Yet I will find a way to power through eventually. :/

I can easily see why you didn't get hooked in Skyrim (it's a game I played obsessively until I got all the achievements and then disowned), and also why you're not enjoying Skyward Sword.

Optical Audio is usually better in all respects (as for the HDMI is preferable...it really depends on your speaker set up.) I personally have my optical plugged into the PS3 instead of the TV.

The time mark may say 40 mins or so ago now, but it's only been up for maybe 10. The Temple Run story was showing up earlier that TAY.

I guess PBS is acceptable... still 4-5 month delay is lame :/

I just wish the second series was showing on BBC America and not just BBC One. I really want to watch it now, without having to "pirate" it.
