Well, this is pretty awesome. Maybe I should get back into OnLive or these guys.

You also have to remember that the game has been out for over 9 years. Assuming my math is correct, that's spending on average about 4 hours a day playing it.

Honestly what you should do in the swamp is just keep running past those guys in get into the next area. As long as you keep running they won't follow you down into where the boss is (I'm not sure if that's because they get stuck or what). Same goes for the mosquitoes.

The PS3 is pretty good at keeping a smooth framerate (there are some places early on where it might start to slow), but once you get to Blight town it will most definitely fall to its knees. There's just too much stuff going on in the map for the consoles to take.

I'd like them to fix the sound issues on PS3 :(

So I'm going to preorder Skyrim in the next couple days. My big question is should I get it on PS3 or 360? I would get it on PC, but it's starting to show it's age and I would probably need to upgrade it to have it run decently. I'll probably get it on PC when I upgrade it and when Skyrim is cheaper (possibly a

Probably because he's the only one that would actually play through the entire game without destroying anything.

All right, thanks for the info!

As I'm almost done with my play-through of Demon's Souls, and prefer fighting mainly at long range. Is that still an acceptable thing to do in Dark Souls? (and by that I mean, is that sort of the easy mode when you get a fully upgraded Bow/decent magic?)

I'm exactly the same as you haha. I feel as though fretting requires more precision than strumming, so yea... that's my explanation for that.

I'm guessing you'll also need to buy HBO separately in order to watch the HBO GO stuff on XBL? I honestly don't see why they're doing this since you need to already have the subscriptions in place to watch them on XBL.

Okay thanks for the info. I guess I can go and enjoy Dark Souls when I get home from work today then haha.

Yea, I was kinda pissed that no matter my choices the game pretty much plays out the same way.

As far as I've seen, they only sell those stupid magnetic bracelets (or some other weird thing) that supposedly make you stronger and have better balance.

Simply beautiful.

haha, that happened to me too. Mine was from moving from my parent's to my own place. So I had to buy all new stuff. I hit my limit too easily :(

So I asked this yesterday evening, but figured I should probably ask this while many more people are reading.

I've actually been waiting to hear this since I first saw one of Energy Armor's kiosks at my local mall.

So is the Dark Souls Collector's Edition much better than the Standard? Gamestop screwed me over saying you could only get the Collector's Edition if you pre-ordered a month in advance (which I didn't see any mention of that anywhere). Anyway, should I just wait until there are Collector's Editions out on shelves

Gamestop definitely has the worst of the three. I'm probably going to have to go with Best Buy since I love physical stuff, but Omega is tempting. I'll just have to hope that we're correct in thinking the Omega battle will just be DLC at some point.
