Hey, I really like Savini's NotLD! Perfectly solid remake if you ask me. Great cast, too. Will not hear bad things spoken of it.

Playing God 2, please!
And I've always seen it as a proto-Spider-Man film in it's own right. Nerdy hero, one villain who wields electricity (ala Electro) and one who runs over any obstacles in his path (ala Rhino). I guess that makes Bruce's Renaldo the Heel 'Flash' Thompson.
Actually, Hardy's character is pretty much the only decent human being on the team. Damaged goods, but still…
But Ostrander wrote it, so it's totally cool. Also, it was pre Nu52, so it never even happened now.
Not much need to check the rear view mirror these days, I'd imagine. And they were rolling in lights-out mode, too.
Ostrander's run with the Squad is in my Top Three Runs of All Time, easily. I just re-read a big chunk of it, as I do every couple of years. It really should be better known than it is.
I would watch the ever-lovin' shit outta that!
Miguel Ferrer's a pretty good anything.
Bowed out early? He's been attached to ANT-MAN for EIGHT. YEARS.
As a Hulk guy, it really bothered me that the script seemed to be a mishmash of random stuff from all the different eras of the comics PLUS the tv show as well. Putting that aside, I do love this movie. And Nolte's big speech at the end is one for the ages.
