The biggest difference between Avatar 2 and the MCU movies is the lack of irony and presence of earnestness and emotional honesty. The MCU is married to irony, “THAT JUST HAPPENED!!!” scenes/dialogue, and Whedon-esque dialogue, all of Avatar avoids.

This movie is a masterpiece. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole film. Watching it in theaters was an experience, more then just a movie. I honestly thought when I left the theater, that I had just witnessed the best movie I have ever seen.
