Since when are sororities about inclusiveness and community activism? Traditionally, sororities and fraternities have always been playgrounds and networking clubs for the selfish offspring of the One Percent and those who desire to be the One Percent.

Yeah, Daddy is about the last thing I want to think about when sex/sexual attraction is involved.
*shudder* (think Ivanka/her daddy)

People who call other people “daddy” when they find them attractive skeeve me the fuck out and raises concerning red flags.

Have these people... never made lemonade? From scratch? Because lemon water is great, but it ain’t lemonade. Who are these fools?

 You seem triggered.

They need to look like over sexualised barbies

Someone I know was complaining on Facebook that Moira didn’t have enough of a character arc on ‘Schitt’s Creek’, and I really disagreed. Yes, she starts the series as an over-the-top drama queen, and that’s how she ends it as well, but what changes is the way she relates to other people. She learns to be more generous

Now playing

As much as I love her in everything, I think her voicing Sally in “Nightmare Before Christmas” is still my favorite.

Besides Phoebe Waller-Bridge, I can’t think of anyone. Schitt’s Creek is one of those rare shows I can watch over and over again that gives me comfort during this shithole of a timeline.

Of course you don’t need to listen to a foreign lyric to mishear something. There’s the term “Mondegreen” that was coined in a 1954 New Yorker article where Sylvia Wright admits that she always heard “They hae slain the Earl o’ Moray and laid him on the green” as “They hae slain the Earl o’Moray and Lady Mondegreen”

I like how John Fugelsang puts it:

When I was growing up in Fundie Land, I was told that anyone who didn’t obey the exact wording of the Bible was going straight to Hell for being a fake Christian. Now I’m convinced that if anyone’s going to Hell, it’s going to be the people who preached “Christian values” but “didn’t do these things for others” — said

Said it once, will repeat myself.

Generous theory: It’s the closest any of us can get to hearing our favorite songs again for the first time

I dig the JAMEL AKA JAMAL reaction videos. He’s totally open to all kinds of genres and has a huge appreciation for real musicians and live performances.

There’s a very popular older reactor named Jamel_aka_Jamal (he just turned 40) and apparently, he loves all the rock stuff I heard as a kid in the 1970s. He did say in one of his “admin” videos that he’ll check to see which other reactors have been able to keep their videos up before he does a request. That’s part of

Anyone who doesn’t think Phil wasn’t a great drummer needs to go back and listen to 1970s Genesis.

I would say his reputation for “grampa rock” is also very overstated. In the early and mid 80's he was known for music like this which was a staple on the coolest shows at the time, like Miami Vice, which in turn basically set 80's fashion to what we know of today (the sports coat with t shirt, etc..). He was the targe

Speaking as someone who plays and teaches drums for a living, I can attest to the awesomeness of this fill. Phil Collins has always been severely underrated as a drummer, because he’s such a poster child for sucky grampa rock, but dude could serve up a serious groove, and had chops to spare.
