Okay, I need therapy.
While Jim Breuer’s impression of a Latino is questionable at best, he kind of nails his impression of a probably alcoholic, washed up C-list celebrity.
"Porch" is no "cellar door" but it's not bad.
I’m too tired to raise my glass.
I am so fucking tired.
I know you’re just teasing him, but Elway has proven time and again that he’s the glue that holds this team together.
Jesus Christ, Charles. These submissions are supposed to be depressing in a funny way, not straight up depressing.
Chris wrote a really great article exploring how their attack has had so much attention because they are pretty, feminine, white and cisgender. Would really recommend a read https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jun/14/homophobic-attack-bus-outrage-media-white
Racists xenophobe says what? What is your race? Nobody gives a shit.
They were homophobic. All I need.
Agreed. To this show’s credit, it does the best it can and I feel like any other cast/producers would be a lot more sloppy. Your local barber example is a good example, and I also like how they take the “heroes” to clothing stores they can mostly afford (or who can fit them well) - remember when they took the preacher…

I call it “decency porn” and this type of programming is increasingly necessary for my survival.
I don’t mean this in a weird way, but I do have a lot of meaningful relationships and emotional exchanges in my life and I STILL feel that emotional release every single episode.
This is sweet
I think it’s like doing a play. You intensely bond with these people you’re in a cast with, doing this work with, expressing intense emotions with and then all you’ve got left when it’s over are pictures and a promise that you’ll *definitely* see the next show they’re in.

This may indicate to some degree I have absence of meaningful…
Full disclosure: I really like Tan and I think Antoni was maybe at his best/least obnoxious in season 4. But of the Fab 5, those two definitely struggle the most with calibrating their TV personas. In more relaxed interviews, Tan comes across as down to earth and personable, but I think he’s much less comfortable when…
