All your asparagus are belong to me.
All your asparagus are belong to me.
I’m originally from just the other side of the NC/TN border, and those fires were absolutely terrible. My sister in Marion couldn’t go outside due to Code Purple air quality (a huge fire near her), and a fire burned less than a mile uphill from my parents’ place in Candler. We could see the glow from the flames at…
I’m so sorry, just went through something very similar. My youngest sister had breast cancer at 26, so when I got a painful, burning spot last year at 33 my doc went hard on the screening. It was never a defined lump, but definitely swollen. I had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. It turned out to be a…
I’m so sorry.
He and Alicia Vikander should have both been nominated for Ex Machina.
Oscar Isaac seems to be overlooked a lot. I saw Sucker Punch in the theater (I had free passes) and his absolute scum-bag of a character stole every scene he was in. I hated him but couldn’t look away.
It was a bullet in a DirtBag :/
Also her essay on post-partum depression was really moving.
No, it’s Becky.
Aww thank you! :)
Since I got laid off a few weeks ago, I’ve gone from ‘professional face’ (primer, foundation, powder, all the eye stuff, etc)to maybe a swipe of powder and mascara before I leave the house. I still clean and moisturize, but my 35-year-old skin has never looked better.
Yeaaahhh... the two names that caught my eye were Octavia Spencer and Father John Misty. I find the other two inoffensive but uninteresting.
My first ‘real’ concert was Pearl Jam in 1996 on the tour for No Code. It was in Charlotte, NC at the height of Jesse Helms’ reign. Gloria Steinam spoke, my mom and I bounced to ‘Hail, Hail’ and ‘Porch’ in the pit, and it’s one of my fondest memories.
I got laid off without warning yesterday. Right now the only future self I can envision is the one that showers and puts on real clothes. It seems pointless to worry about anything more than paying the bills.
Zulu was very handsome and obviously a Very Good Boy. Dogs are such wonderfully pure creatures, it’s always a heartbreak that we only get to borrow them for a short time. I’m sorry for your loss.
Yes! Silverfish would consider this to be prime real estate.
I have no babies but my parakeet loved it.
Yeah. I usually get so anxious on the drive over that I’m shutting down by the time I arrive.
That sounds delicious! I love enchiladas verdes.
The Boy and I are doing chorizo-stuffed chiles rellaños, red rice, fried plantains, and fresh guacamole. It will be totally worth the gastrointestinal aftereffects.
