Hamilton I was hoping you were going to talk to the 20 and 30 year old Deadheads on meth and who, for whatever reason, have dogs and hang out and sleep near Frenchman Street.

Peak Hamilton Nolan... won’t help homeless people in his every day life, but he’s got no problem taking their picture and “interviewing” them for a blog post.

This take is bad. Going to stores sucks.

Helping a federal criminal to evade capture by authorities is a serious offense. Without slamming or extolling either “party”, perhaps the car guys and gals here need a short refresher on what America is,and how things are “supposed” to work . I’ll do my best to explain it briefly and truthfully....this stuff is no

Wow, thats one of the shittiest citations I have ever seen.

Umm, this is not journalism, it’s opinions of left wing hipsters who happen to like cars and generally don’t know how to punctuate or proof read.

“White people hoard their wealth. “

Nobody ever accused Hamilton of understanding basic math.

This. THIS THIS THIS. Here, have a star!

It’s the cool thing to hate on in the “journalism” world anymore. I’m sure he wrote it from his Apple computer while sipping a Starbucks, wearing Nikes.

“...usually offers to buy me a beer the next time we never see each other again.” I Lol’d.

This is absolutely correct. I am not a trumper, so I am not going to use “Fake News” as a catch-all here, but this is some clickbait fact massaging bullshit and I don’t like it. It cheapens the source of the article and reduces the credibility, which is another reason people should be concerned here.

Anybody can

How much of this is tithing to churches?

- It’s an unfair comparison because I make more money and much of my wealth isn’t liquid so I would have to give a lot more than someone who has 1/5th of my income and would have more trouble giving it as it’s tied up in investments.

Of course I’m offended. Why shouldn’t I be? It uses faulty reasoning to imply a negative trait about an ethnicity.

Except I already made it clear that the wealth in question is not liquid. Equity in a house, long term financial instruments, etc. aren’t easily divided into something useful for a charity. A more useful metric would be charitable giving as a percentage of income.

Splinter and the Root should just combine and call it “Why We Hate White People”. You can ask many questions that frame the responses to your narrative. I’d like to see the list of questions, where they got their information to form this chart.

Eh, you can be house-rich but cash-poor pretty easily in this country. Just have been lucky enough to buy a house 30+ years ago and you’ve got (on average) $250k in assets just in the house alone. But that doesn’t mean you’re able to give $5,000/year in charitable donations (which is what the white’s average is).

I’m thinking there’s a shit-ton of prosperity gospel crap clogging up those numbers.
