Those backgrounds don’t do anything good for the pictures. Why not just get the con to provide backgrounds? Get the vendors to provide some also. Then you’ll have places for people to take pictures with something more relevant to their costume ... instead of a bar, shelf of books, and a table full of dishes.

Yes. In the beginning if you joined a RP server you had to abide by the rules which were enforced heavily for a number of years. Now not so much since GMs are too busy. But you can still get banned for interrupting rp and having a non-rp name if enough people report you for it.
