I hope they've upgraded the UI from the one in the computer game. That was truly awful. Couldn't track shit, and the cuing was just terrible.

F-15s have huge radar power in order to prosecute air to air engagements. It would be hard to justify the cost of putting similar radar power on a UAV which can't currently do air to air combat. I'm always a big fan of optical systems. A lot more human friendly than radar. I hear the guys on the Ponce are enjoying the super optics that come with their laser. As well they might, the Persian gulf is always going to be bustling one way or the other and being able to characterize activity is essential.
