I don’t know if it’s a Golden Girls spin-off that nobody wanted, but to this day, I can’t find episodes of The Golden Palace anywhere. Empty Nest, however, is the one that makes me roll my eyes. The Golden Girls episodes where they waste time establishing those characters are the worst.

I’ll take the bullet and just say it: Will Forte is not funny. His entire approach to comedy is “I can’t believe he just said/did that.”

Similar to how Galaxy Quest is one of the best Star Trek movies, even in the opinion of the Trek casts. I suppose it would fit into your “cult hit” category during the third spoof wave, though for me it was part of a chain of unexpected comedy (but non-parody) films like Mystery Men, Best In Show, Anchorman, and Dodgeb…

I would certainly consider Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil as some form of parody.

I wish Georgina and her label well. While not entirely my style (a little too floral and feminine) she’s a very talented designer and doesn’t deserve to lose her career because of her ex-husband’s monstrous behaviour, and her children don’t deserve to be punished for the actions of their father either.
