I think ROTJ is a superior film to ROTS. All of the stuff you mention is great. I was just talking about what happened in the village.

I don't mind the Ewoks. They were cutesy and kind of funny. But the time Luke and co. spend on their village ruins the pace of the film. Even as a child, I was bored out of my mind when watching that part. They should have shortened that sequence and make it some kind of negotiation between the Alliance and the Ewoks…

I'd take Order 66 any day over the sequence in the Ewok village, which completely stalls the movie.
