Yeah there are a whole host of inhumans now and marvel doesn’t know how to use them. I really think it comes down the the studio being so single mindely pointed to infinity war that they’re not focused on much after that.

I’m fairly certain that the Sokovia Accords are mentioned in Luke Cage, so that would indicate it takes place after CA: Civil War.

I think each of the shows/seasons has a line in there somewhere to point to the most recent big thing in the MCU. But I couldn’t give you specifics and I’m in no rush to comb through all

In Luke Cage they talk about Punisher, so it takes place after season 2 of Daredevil.

I’m not knowledgeable about sports, but according to fans on the Defenders reddit, the discussion of baseball teams in Pop’s barber shop in the first episode of Luke Cage places the season in Fall 2015.

It’s pretty much real time, just like the rest of the MCU.

So my theory is that the Netflix U splits off into its own little corner after Avengers 1, and nothing else Avengersy has happened since in that universe. The avengers get name dropped as fanservice, but really the Netflix U is its own thing.

I feel like all the Netflix shows take place in the time period starting after the fall of SHIELD when the Avengers started being a more formal, proactive group, and before the events of Civil War

As a general rule, I interpret them as taking place between the movies that came out between -6 months and +6 months since the netflix show.

They happen (generally) when the shows are released. So you have to fudge timelines a bit when the Netflix show is obviously over 8-10 months and A0S happens every week... But for the most part its “release date = real time”

I would just assume that the Netflix shows are all taking place prior to Civil War. Luke Cage had more ties to Phase One than any of the other shows (Hammer Tech, Chitauri bullets)

It referenced Hell’s Kitchen. Mentioned a “Gang War”

I try to think too much about the timeline. I just go with the notion that DD S1 probably just barely pre-AoU, everything else is post AoU and CA:CW.

The Netflix shows take place more or less parallel with AoS, at least as lined up in that timeline.

I’d love to see a zombie movie where humanity unites to find the threat. It’d be a nice change of pace from, you know, all zombie movies ever made. It’s always about how *gasp* people are the biggest monsters of them all. Ugh.

I have to say, the ending of the episode where Rick and Morty step into the lives of their dead alt-reality counterparts gets me a bit weak in the lip.

for babylon 5 there is also londo learning of adiras death, delenn at the end of confessions and lamentations, and the whole marcus and susan thing at the end of the 4th season and G’kars epihany

The episode “Meat” from Torchwood was really, really, really sad. Geez.

I was wrecked for weeks after Jurassic Bark. I do not buy the explanation at all that subsequent episodes where Fry was able to go back in time and see his dog made it all better. Not at all.

I rewatched both eps after this thread ran earlier and Fryish didn’t hit me as hard as Bark.
