I think they implied on several occasions that Kimishima was only ever intended to be a semi-temporary stopgap of sorts.

It’s interesting that we live in a time where the first though is “what are the specs” rather than “is it fun to play?” As if specs = fun. Are visuals important, sure, but I just don’t understand why people get hung up on it.

But the spec war is a stupid one, and they’re right not to try to play it. Yes, those are buzzwords, but they’re essentially meaningless for most people.
