I just have a slab of glass over my wood desk. This makes the writing surface a lot smoother and I am able to write notes on it with a dry erase marker. If I want to see what I'm writing better, I just stick some white paper under the glass

I use it for calls and txting. I txt from my computer or ipod touch with google voice if I have wifi (when im on my college campus I always have wifi). I'm also on a family plan so calls are 10$ a month, and texting is 10$.

dumb phone was free. ipod touch was free with my computer. I never said that no data plan is for everyone, I'm just saying it's been working for me!

I'm guessing your not from the US? The cheapest plan you can get (on a good network) is $30. I'm saying, skip the smart phone, and you wont have to spend $30 more a month (or $360 a year).

I don't believe you will be able to download teh Camera+ app with the volume button as the shutter. The apps that you can download are in their latest/up to date form. Wouldn't the new camera+ app be sitting there for you to update, not the older version?
