@Msj2705: but the new lock has a square notch cut out instead of a rounded one. So the pop can thingy wont work because it cant wedge itself in between.

@Msj2705: if you look at this lock in the video, you can see it has a different mechanism to keep it locked. instead of a single spring holding the lock, it can be held from all sides. its hard to explain, but if you compare the hook ends you'll understand.
