Yes. The hospital in the premiere was real; the one we've been seeing for the last few episodes was a construct on the astral plane.

This. Fucking. Show.

"This can't be happening. They're not smart enough for this to be happening."

H.R. could've at least made the pun.

Righteously indignant Kara is great Kara. She's always so pleased with herself and the fact that someone agrees with her.

Goddamnit, I'm just loving this song.

"Look, J'onn, I appreciate this whole secret agent thing you've got going on, but this situation right here needs someone…. with green skin and a sick-ass cape."

I can't help but root for them, because sad Melissa hurts my heart, and against them, because Chris Wood gets to canoodle with her. But hey, as long as they continue to act well enough to make me invested in the show, I'll watch.

"Super-friends, back in the habit! Oh, sorry."

Wow. Even in this return-to-form season, this was a standout episode in my opinion.

I don't think so; if you look at it, the locations were where the demon has made itself known and also where David has had uncontrolled outbursts of power - the kitchen and the MRI room. The sequence was basically Lenny/Shadow King (or, as someone appropriately named her downthread, the Shadow Queen) reveling in the

If Chuck thought he was protecting David, he didn't do a great job… the demon's been around in David's head since he was a kid. He was found pretty quickly, it seems.

GOD DAMN, AUBREY PLAZA.

Actually, I highly doubt it was. I think the demon has rewritten his memory of that story and turned it into a weapon of fear. It was probably a much more normal children's book with a different title.

I think it's clear now that a) the Lenny in the wall was a real person that the Shadow King is using as a face in David's head (although David rewrote Benny into Lenny), and b) the King is only in David's mind, not his body. That probably explains why Syd lost control so quickly - without the King to feed off the

Good GOD, that was an amazing episode.

"How many times must I tell you people, Mick Rory is not to fly this ship!"

"So my suggestion is suck it up, buttercup! Milking epic greatness!"
