Mk6 VW Golf/Sportwagen TDI with a 6 speed! (yes that is me, I don’t claim the picture to be mine!)

No, there’s nothing shady or dishonest about it at all. VW dropped the JSW and put it on the Golf MQB platform which means it’s a different vehicle than the Jetta except for some engines and transmissions. It’s not like they refreshed it and then called it a Golf, it is actually a Golf now.

Yes, I know the best answer is van, but the only Sprinter I’ve seen for under 20k was in terrible shape and the new Fords are too pricey still.

Get the Tacoma. Get an older one. Towing a bike or two will not be a problem. Get a manual one if you don’t like the trans. Bikes are light, side by sides are light, quads and jet skis are light. My roommate tows his yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4 ATV with an old honda minivan.

Ah yes, the Golf. The one car in the whole VW lineup that seems to be doing OK in the US. The same platform is used to produce the superb Euro Passat. So much potential. And yes, so much idiocy. VW could make real money in the US:

I have had a puish button start car for a year and a half now - I am now so proud of myself for not killing myself or anyone I was with.

InB4: don’t you mean his and HIS Miata. huehuehue

I always had a thing for the one that got away.

Let’s be honest, I’m only here for this beautiful graphic.

This would pretty nice on the 918.

...and my Saab 9-5 wagon.

2 door sedans exist? DO NOT show this to BMW.

This is the ultimate BMW disguise. It looks like that car might have some sort of turn signal. Everybody knows that BMW’s don’t have turn signals!!

I honestly always secretly liked the look of the late 90s Cavalier, but then they “updated” it, and bleh!

The QX80 looks like Mama June if she dressed up all fancy-like.
