You just stay neutral. If someone *asks* for a reaction (e.g. “Look how much weight I’ve lost!”), then you gauge your tone to theirs (positive or negative). Otherwise, don’t mention it. You never know what someone might be going through, and their weight really shouldn’t matter to anyone else.

Can it be a particular type of annoying to be a smart woman? Yes.
