The Boys always sounded cringey as fuck when people explained it to me. I have no real experience with the source material, but given what I’ve heard about the sexual content and violence, this seems like an odd choice for an Amazon under fire over harassment claims.

I want to check this out, but I think I’ll wait for the linear version.

This shit is difficult. I think I actually can draw an art/artist line for things that were already made when the person in question is a hired gun in a product made by hundreds of other people, but it’s a lot harder if the product is almost entirely their creative vision or if they keep getting work after a pattern

In the spirit of the original, and because the 4 hour version is likely still saved on a mainframe or whatever somewhere and the movie could use an excuse to move physical copies, I would suggest they include this as a workprint cut on the Blu-Ray.

And it comes to HBO Go in less than a week, which makes this even worse. I was counting the days down since I missed it in theaters.

Excellent, I legitimately wanted to see 4 or 5 of these in theaters and didn’t get a chance. Looking forward to it now that I’m actually watching stuff more often.

Isn’t she kind of conservative or otherwise strange on a handful of other topics? I remember a couple years ago she wrote a book on weird natural/holistic parenting techniques. She’s also put out mixed signals on vaccination. I didn’t find it surprising that her op-ed was somewhat conflicted as well.

Damn. Exactly this.

And also given the comments below, I think it’s fair to note that his topical humor almost never has a point of view and so it comes off as “Ahh, this guy chased women around for years and jacked off in front of them and forced them to have sex with them! Isn’t that zany,” which suggests a level of tone-deafness and

This dude is a dipshit who cares about being chummy with Hollywood types and part of that scene more than actually being entertaining at all. For awhile it seemed like he would just coast off of carpool karaoke, but at this rate I’m wondering if he can keep his show in perpetuity. If CBS weren’t the most conservative

I thought this was slightly better in terms of consistency but mostly on par with the previous two episodes. The material has been overall spotty this season with just one or two sketches really landing in each episode, but I thought the difference here was in Kumail’s fantastic monologue, better-than-usual update

This is the shorthand for everything wrong with the new EU. Outside of the saga films, they’re not (yet?) allowed to tell stories at the same scale as the trilogies, so you end up getting shit like this. What was impressive about the old EU was how much it fleshed out the universe and carried characters forward and

This continues to look like it will be campy fun, which is a start. It’d be nice if this could lock the DCEU into actually being a thing rather than a series of constantly changing plans, because again I think the casting works quite well and there just hasn’t been strong enough material for most of the players. While

Bubblegum Crisis was dope when I was in middleschool, and I did purchase the remastered Blu-Rays via a kickstarter campaign a couple years back out of nostalgia, but I’d be partially afraid to watch it these days.

I’m starting to think Idris Elba is going to end up being more of a John Hamm than a George Clooney.

Caught a few minutes of this and wasn’t into it. I hope they do something special for Season 30 next year (like inviting a bunch of classic writers back to do their dream episodes) and then put this thing to bed. Maybe even give it one more movie if they can get a script as decent as the last one.

I loved this and hope it runs for years. Sure the sci-fi bonefides weren’t really on display as much this episode, and there are kinks to work out with the supporting cast, but you don’t tease multiverse doppelgangers and not have that be a thing, especially when it gives you an opening to have evil or weird versions

I had heard of the man but never saw the show until Buzzr started up in my area around two years ago. For the first yearish that Buzzr was on the air, they would actually play at-the-time recently shot interview footage with Hall to lead into their hour long Deal blocks. He seemed to be a very sharp and seemingly

I thought this was a fun if uneven episode, although the hollow opener and the pretty flat return of Alien Abduction (which was done at least once or twice without Gosling) got things off to a shaky start, and I thought update was lacking as well.

Yep, that sounds better.
