You won’t experience this at a pre-release, since it requires cards from both Kaldheim and Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.
Pre-releases will generally be a sealed deck tournament featuring cards exclusively from the new set.

Social distancing at PAX will only exist on the website and on signs. As soon as gamers get within sight of some new game they are gonna be crowding each other to get their eyeballs on the screen showing it.

It was good, actually.

11 years after MAG and other games are still only halfway to that game’s number of players per match.

They shoulda done a PS2 version of Racing Lagoon instead.

Hell they should do another Racing Lagoon anyway.

Sapporo Ichi-Ban, because it says number one in the name and I am very susceptible to branding.

I wonder if I will ever get over my tanxiety and try a non-DPS class one day.

I picked up Hitman 1 and 2 on steam last weekend in anticipation of the third one specifically because of the advertised carry over into Hitman 3. I suppose I should have anticipated that I’d instead need to buy the second game from a platform it isn’t even offered on.

Guess I’m waiting a year for the steam release, or

After I had finished Final Fantasy 6 on the SNES I tried to get my brother to play it. He made it to the ghost train and then called me into the room because he was having trouble. Once I was there he pointed out that after he saved, his save slot was blank.

No Resident Evil music discussion is complete without going over the bafflingly bad tracks on the RE1 Dual Shock edition.

Turns out it was a real shitty way of promoting a book about teen wizards!

Yep, it’s a merging of the mechanics of THPS 1 and 2, so you do get manuals in the levels from 1, but otherwise it’s a portal back to 1999.

Can you play a Cactuar tribal deck?

In France it is mostly nuclear.

Could cut off the first three words of the headline and sum up every Mclaren story of 2016 and 2017.

And you should win things by driving it!

Marvel and Emrakul definitely were going to be in Standard together for a while. Eldritch Moon was released in July 2016 and Kaladesh was released in September of that year.

I would say you are right that Ulamog is the problem, however I would also say that the specific wording on Marvel “You may cast a card from among them without paying its mana cost.” rather than the usual “Put on to the battlefield” text for similar effects is also a large part of it.

It was really silly of them to

Marvel will probably stay in Standard, Ulamog will rotate in the fall and Wizards is likely going to try and wait this out rather than go through yet another set of Standard bannings.

Player confidence is shaken already with the recent series of Standard bans and the next rotation is soon enough that I doubt they will
