I think laika’s stop-motion movies have picked up that ball in some respect

I mean, Karnak’s power doesn’t even NEED a visual signifyer and they still konked him on the head early on so he couldn’t use it

Is no one gonna talk about the crayon drawing of ‘Bob the super hero’? That made me tear up more than his actual death scene

Ditto the whole movie- I don’t mind humour in my super hero movie, but EVERY joke being “character attempts dramatic moment/falls on face” got real old

It was silly, but in a 70's Marvel comics sort of way, so I gives it a pass
