He left Perth a long time ago, when he went in search of Tony the Chicken. The news report said that two Kevins were missing from the Melbourne area. Kevin mentioned the name of the actual town when he told Matt he needed to get to the hospital there (the same town that the news said were his last whereabouts), but I

In the premiere, John said that after the shooting, Kevin didn't even go to the hospital until the next morning. So, he DID go to a hospital? Or is he referring to the Urgent Care clinic where John found him the night of the shooting? In any case, that night he came home covered in blood, and nobody thought to ask

I really don't think the DSD is involved in this. It was mostly a throwaway line. Maybe foreshadowing, but nothing more concrete than that.

What would indicate that they are the Grace's children? The ages are wrong, and she told us they were dead. I just assume they're Grace's neighbors. I don't think it's necessarily supposed to be a big mystery.

The voices told Kevin Sr. he needed to give that specific issue of National Geographic to Kevin Jr. and tell Jr. to "accept it". Jr. didn't accept it. The only connection to Cairo was that the place where Jr took Patti & Patti killed herself was also in or near a place also called Cairo.

Same house.

Did he actually wave to them though? I thought they just stared at each other for a minute until he jumped in the water. Still, I'm guessing that's what the passage was referring to.

I don't think he dies each time, mainly because the previous times he was dead for several hours. I don't think he'd risk getting caught like that.

He was actually looking at the "Mapleton Gazette" website, but you're probably right that he's also putting the book on the web.

And he's a former police chief Kevin himself. Close enough?

According to the director of this episode in an article at The Daily Beast, it was real, no air hose or anything.

She's eligible for Drama for The Leftovers, and Miniseries for Fargo. I think.

She was born into it.

I think it was implied he was more or less indifferent regarding politics. I remember him telling Bert early in season one that he doesn't vote (but I don't know if he was serious about that).

The interview with Debbie's mother indicated it was filmed sometime in the 1990s. I don't think Debbie's parents were still around when this special was filming.

This episode was delayed because of the World Series.

I couldn't stand him at first, but he's been growing on me the last couple of episodes.

Yeah, I kind of wondered if I would have been more impressed if it hadn't been hyped as much.

Didn't stop them from referencing the other show Alison Brie was on.
