You and me both. I have intensely passive-aggressive contests with one of my beloved flatmates who likes the temperature to hover somewhere between the Arabian desert and the surface of the sun. I, being a normal, like it somewhere around 21°-22°C (aka 70°-72°F in American). So every time one of us passes the

Insurance is dirt cheap on those...and I get 70 MPG. Just sayin...youll get bored with a 300 in NO TIME.

So let’s see if I’ve got this straight: the security guard didn’t notice for two hours that a family was roaming the lot, opening and sitting in cars, etc., after all the employees had gone home?

Like I said, good luck and have fun, but just shop around to make a good choice. You’ll be happy either way!

Cabarnett, you need to shop around on insurance, there’s absolutely no reason for a big difference between the 300 and 500 insurance-wise (I just ran a test quote through Progressive— difference was $6 a month. The 500 is worth a lot more than that, trust me).

an FZ-09 will be my next bike. seems like the most perfectly well-rounded bike, yet still bat-outta-hell when you want.

Small bikes are a lot of fun beyond just the “beginner” angle. I think you’ll really enjoy it.

Just passing on; a friend of mine who road the FZ-09 compained that they put all the money into the engine, and the suspension and brakes are really lacking compared to other bikes.

Go for the CBR 500F! I love my CBR 500R

Mine

I just got a CB300F, and I love it. It is a great bike.

I have one of FZ09s and I love it !!!!

Oddly enough I was cross-shopping the CB500F/X due to Wes’s praises and the fact that they are cheaper and insurance is about 1/5th of the Yamahas. Then I look at the Yamahas... I mean just look at ‘em!

Try the cb500f abs- tons of fun for years to come.

I love my FZ-09 and it really is pretty docile in the “B” mode. It can be a bit of a handful in the other modes though

I like the idea of the 09 but its just a hoonmobile. if you wanna do dangerous stuff thats the bike for you. but it seems like that is all it is good for.

The Honda WILL be my first bike. I saw it in person at the LA Auto Show last year, and loved it even more than when I read about it and decided that it was going to be my first bike.

You should be indicted for murder because I am dead.

Getting dangerously close to doing this...exactly. Add hitch, add rack crossbars...done.

that was actually Daewoo, I don’t remember what model
