Because he and some friends go out for drinks every week, and I pretty much always have something come up, and can’t make it. And now, I’m out of town with work. Told him I’d go out for drinks when I get back to town. Was supposed to be gone 2 months, now it’ll be more like 8.

It’s a bummer he moved to Banner! Who am I gonna grab lunch with now?!

So true! Just barely after meeting him, he wrote me a glowing letter of recommendation, which landed me a job at CVS! (too bad Tyson just moved to Banner, we used to be able to carpool, or grab lunch!). Can’t wait to get back to town, I owe him a fair number of drinks! haha

That would’ve been after his Alaska trip... but how many times has he gone to Utah or California since then? haha

Sure! It’s in the greater Phoenix area! Start hanging around the car circles, and you’ll probably run into me or Tyson, or someone who knows one of us. It’s a really tight community around here.

Tyson takes it to some real unique shops around town, that’s for sure! He’s shown me Honda/Acura shops that I never knew existed! (and I worked for 3 years as a commercial parts distributor — it was MY JOB to know every shop in town!)

Can’t wait to get back in town and drive it again. :D

Yeah, that apartment was pretty crap, though. Management was great, but the apartment itself was shit. At least it was close to campus / downtown, and fairly cheap!

His blog is great! Hopefully you get a chance to meet / hang out with him in person. He’s just a genuinely cool guy to hang out with. I owe him several beers by now, I think.

Well, he just bought the house at the end of the summer — it had a 2 car garage on the street side, and a “workshop” the same size, but with a single-sized garage door dead center, exiting out the rear. For whatever reason, there was a wall between them. So, he invited his family out, and knocked down the wall. Fresh…

I’d kill to see this garage.
