A lot of them still hate the NFL because they didn’t summarily execute Kaepernick. I actually know people who are still boycotting. One guy in particular used to be a big fan, host viewing parties every week, now won't even let you talk to him about it. Just astonishing.

The only thing that can stop a bad Nazi is a good Nazi? Is that their logic?

It’s not like their grandparents and great-grandparents were any better.  They fought harder to keep from serving with black people than they fought to keep fascism from spreading.

Pretty sure they think all those people died exclusively so they could be free to be as racist and hateful as they like.

You have to admit: it’s a fantastic advertisement for the kind of historical ignorance they promote.

Or they could say nothing for a few months and let it blow over. Or they could have gone full throated with their support. Middle of the road beer, middle of the road response, middle of the road expectations.

The Moms for Liberty are coming to Philadelphia for their national conference this year and I’m wishing them all the worst. I think a lot of people, including the moms, underestimate Philly’s staunch liberalism, and more so how much even the bluest collar Philadelphian will disregard race or sexual orientation when it

I think we’re still in a space where most of the nazis still want to have some sort of plausible deniability that they aren’t actually nazis. I only give that a few more years though before they all stop caring.

Oh shit....I didn’t see that.

Twatzis.

The fact that they attempted an apology is the only surprising part of the story.

They are sorry they got caught. They have no problem engaging as the same actions as Nazis.

not knowing she was commending the dipshit.

“We’re sorry (we got caught).”

You heard the man. Pride’s over.

“We condemn Adolf Hitler’s actions and his dark place in human history. We should not have quoted him in our newsletter.”

If there are a lot of close substitutes for your product in most people’s minds, stay a million miles away from the culture war. The NFL and the NBA may not suffer for making vaguely “woke-ish” statements from time to time but the Cletus McSisterfuckers of the world don’t have a close substitute for the NFL.

The beer of easy enjoyment...a.k.a. the beer you drink when you’re so slopped that you reach for the nearest half-full plastic cup, not caring whose it was or whether there’s still a ping-pong ball in it.

“I don’t know what happens when people get corrupted,” says former drug trafficker Tim Allen.

Business wise, it was a dumb move to start with. I have a hard time believing it got the green light in the first place unless it was to gauge how loyal their audience was.
