World to Supporter of Arizona Election Recount: “Duh!”

Religion ruins everything.

Luke, I too am a scaredy-cat when it comes to games. The Resident Evil games gave me actual nightmares. I have this on disk, still. I played till the part where you first encounter other humans trying to kill you, i.e. not very far into the game. I got incredibly lucky last December and snagged a ps5. I’ve been

Sort of off topic, but I discovered Broken Bells, now one of my favorite bands, waiting behind someone getting their morning milkshake at Starbucks.

In my opinion, Hemlock Grove S1 was STELLAR.

Sigh. AGAIN, Netflix? I was interested in watching this, being a Holmes fan. I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Since there are a GAZILLION things to watch/play/read.

Um, just like EVERYTHNG Repugnicants get twisted up about?

Awesome, thanks!

I did not know that! Thanks. I really wanted to see where the story went. A revisit it is!

GOTDAMN do I love me some Frisch’s Big Boy smash burgers!

Thanks! Yeah, I think I just got overwhelmed to the point where I wasn’t sufficiently powered up to meet the “boss” character I needed to kill to clear that particular level. Up to that point, it hadn’t really given me much resistance, but man, some games have that brick wall come outta nowhere and I’m basically

Which is why I HATE Control. Look, I’m a gamer of... “limited skill.” I need that easy setting to be able to enjoy playing. Control has a fascinating story, and maybe I’ll revisit it, but I hit a brick wall and couldn’t get beyond it. That makes me shelve a game.

I know. I know... BUT. The book was way better than the movie.

Did they know all those years ago how prescient this would be??

I don’t think we need any more reality shows, but I’m “An Old” who still remembers quality scripted shows that weren’t pap spoon fed to the drooling masses.

I discovered The Smiths in college (early 90s) and instantly fell in love.

Honestly, I think all of the uncomfortable-ness stems from them realizing that with their show (finally) ending, so goes their relevance.

What’s he gonna write about? The Bible already exists, as does The Handmaid’s Tale...

GOOD. I was sorry to see Netflix (of course) cancel the revival after 2 seasons.

It’s almost as if these people have been taking their religious marching orders from earthly, elected republican leaders instead of their magical sky wizard.
