I concur. It had great lines, damn fine acting, a bigger struggle, and it paid tribute to some of the best moments in the Dark Horse “Predator” comics. Plus, it has Gary Busey!

For me, what made Predator 2 fun was how much it expanded what today we’d call the Predator-verse. It’s been a while since I’ve watched the original, but I seem to remember Billy (the Native American member of the team) talking about how his people told stories of a monster that hunted them or something like that. I wonder if this is supposed to reference that idea.
Agreed, wouldn’t a new a weird nature object be the whole point of discovering life on other planets? I’ve been super baffled this entire time that they haven’t gone and checked out this and more that’s been spotted, and just pass it by like “oh well that’s nothing to investigate”. Read more
The Black Bolt costume looked a lot better than the one in the ABC show, but I kinda thought it made Mount look like a scaled-down version of the Tick.

Better yet, how was it not revealed in the afterlife during the balancing of the scales? Marc/Steven might have the third personality so buried that they are unaware of it, but the gods? They’d know. In fact, I fully expected that to be how they revealed the third: “the scales cannot balance until you reconcile your… Read more
